Guests from Queen ’s University of Canada came to our school for an exchange visit

On the morning of June 10th, Thomas Gerald Anger, Director of the Special Projects for Middle East and North Africa and China, Director of MFIN Projects, and William Taylor Patryluk, Head of Global Bridge, came to our school for a visit. Chen Baoqi, Dean of MBA School, Luo Huaijing, Deputy Dean, and Jiang Weihong form SDUFE International Exchange and Cooperation Office met with the guests. Kong Pengzhi, from the teaching management department of the MBA School and Wang Yang from the  admissions and student management department attended the meeting.

Dean Chen Baoqi welcomed the guests on behalf of the school, introduced the basic situation of our school, pointed out that our college is committed to international cooperation and development, focusing on training outstanding businessmen with an international perspective, and hopes and welcomes the development of high-quality cooperation projects with Queen's University.

Professor Thomas introduced the basic situation of Queen's University and the advantages of business school in Canada. William introduced the successful experience of cooperation between Queen's University and Chinese universities and well-known enterprises in China, and said that he looks forward to establishing friendly relations with our university and gradually establishing stable cooperation.

During the talks, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanged views on such items as mutual teacher teaching, short-term student visits, and related curriculum arrangements.

Queen ’s University of Canada, is the second oldest university in Ontario. It was established in 1841 under the Royal Charter of Queen Victoria. It was originally a church-sponsored school and was renamed a public research university in 1912. In terms of academics, Queen's University has always maintained a high standard. Its business, engineering, law, arts and sciences are well-known in the world. It is recognized as Canada's top university and known as a traditional Canadian university. Queen's University's average admission score line has been among the best for many years. Business schools and law schools are the famous departments of Queen's University.
