On November 5-7, Dean Chen Baoqi represented the school at the 15th anniversary meeting of the ASSOCIATION OF ASIA-PACIFIC BUSINESS SCHOOLS-AAPBS in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The annual conference was hosted by the French-Vietnamese Management Education Center. A total of nearly 100 business schools in the Asia-Pacific region participated in the conference. The theme of this annual conference is innovation in management education. Around this topic, experts, scholars and business people have fully discussed the meeting. The conference also organized a visit to Schneider Vietnam Electric Company and had a dialogue with senior management of the company. . During the meeting, representatives of business schools from various countries also exchanged opinions and communicated on scientific research, teachers and personnel training.
During the meeting, Dean Chen Baoqi also specially visited the chairman of the AACSB and the CEO of the AMBA to communicate about the international demonstration of management education in our school. At the same time, they also conducted full discussions with principals or representatives of management schools such as Queensland University, Meiji University, Waseda University, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Yonsei University, National University of Singapore, National Taiwan Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan Normal University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University Exchanges and explored areas for further cooperation.
The AACSB was established in 2004 and was initiated by Tsinghua University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, National University of Singapore, University of Sydney and other well-known universities in the Asia-Pacific region. Its members are high-level university business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. The federation holds two major international conferences each year, convening members to discuss the frontier theories and best practices of management education in the Asia-Pacific region, and play a positive role in promoting exchanges and cooperation between management schools in the Asia-Pacific region. At present, there are more than 140 member universities, including mainland universities including Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Lanzhou University, Nankai University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Shantou University, Southwestern University of Finance, Tongji University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and our university. There are 12 in total.
